Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing object-oriented applications under Windows environment.
  • Proficient in C#, WPF GUI development (2-3 years) Robust coding, debugging, optimizing and testing skills.

  • Technical curiosity and fast learning new fields Excellent spoken and written English
  • Experienced in C++ (1-2 years) – an advantage

Job Description: Operations Manager

Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze capacity of resources including equipment, suppliers and labor
  • Release production orders to manufacturing
  • Monitor lead times, lot sizes, bills of material (BOMs), and labor constraints to support master production scheduling
  • Schedule work orders using material, capacity, and labor resources to meet on-time delivery while controlling costs to optimize profitability
  • Generate production schedules and raw material requirements
  • Review inventory reports, verify material and subassembly counts, evaluate inventory levels, review material shortages, verify BOM updates and accuracy
  • Maintain inventory to achieved assigned levels
  • Work diligently with Quality and Engineering departments to develop mechanisms that will improve quality, provide realistic schedules, standardize processes, and reduce costs
  • Participate on new product teams to help build plan that will ensure a smooth transition from concept to production and full product launch
  • Maintain excellent on-time delivery record
  • Manage materials/warehouse; evaluate warehouse processes and implement process improvements to reduce redundancy and cost
  • Manage Inventory; implement automated planning techniques (MRP) to effectively manage inventory; set up and maintain min/max, lead times, and safety stock levels to improve planning and reduce overall material costs
  • Plan, lead, and execute defined and focused supply chain activities with accountability for supply continuity from vendors and within manufacturing operations

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of previous related experience required

  • Previous experience in Medical Device company
  • Proven successful project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain functions within an medical device manufacturing organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Extensive understanding of policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including, not limited to; RoHs, FDA and ISO laws and regulations
  • Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills
